A friend asked me if I would service his 2019 850 with 7000 miles on it. He wanted it gone thru thoroughly. Getting it back into shape has be easy except for one thing. One item he requested was that the spark plugs be changed. As you may know they are buried deep in the engine compartment. Sea-Doo’s RAVE (or R.A.V.E. = Rotax Adjustable Variable Exhaust) valves were the special exhaust power valves on their 2-stroke Rotax engines. They were designed to change the size of the exhaust ports in order to widen the engine’s power band. Sold mine with 9000 miles on it in 2015 (2012 that I bought brand new) never had 1 issue. I changed the chain case every 1200 miles lubed and adjusted the track every other ride and adjusted the belt when needed. Never even changed the plugs.
