The good parts about light armor is you spend fewer perks in the tree compared to heavy and you use less stamina and regen stamina at a much faster rate with wind walker. The pros and cons I can think of: Light: Better perks. 50% stamina regen. Easier smithing paths. Less weight, less stamina drain, faster movement speed. Some of the damage reduction perks are insane when stacked with the armor cap (Especially the 30% power attack reduction).
