Nightmare can drop from unsynced runs, yes. People do tank only runs of garuda often enough that you should hop into one of those. Farm for tank mount as well as nightmare. People still do unsync pony farms, and if its ifrit garuda or titan then you have a shot of nightmare drops in addition to their personalized ponies.. Gopherhole women
